Can i get rid of my ex's belongings?

My boyfriend and i separated 4 months ago, we have 2 kids together and own the house jointly, he took some of his belongings when he left but now refuses to take the rest . I have asked him many times to take the rest of his things but he refuses, what are my rights? how can i make him take the rest of his belongings? can i get rid of them if he doesnt take them?
