Is it possible to be reimbursed from county if you fix potholes on your public street?
After years of trying to get my rural road repaired I have finally had to fix my road so that my cars would not be damaged. I live in a rural upstate Georgia area and the recent poor winters have compounded the pothole problem on my road. I tried going to the town hall meetings and I was told that resurfacing the county roads was in the works but that it would be years away. I just spent $100 of my own money and took my day off to repair the potholes. Does anyone know if I can be or should be reimbursed for the supplies and if so, what county office should I contact?
