I want to know what the tipe of coral is called that i found on the beach in Mossel bay?

i found (what i believe is a piece of coral) a white piece of something on the beach. it has a flower imprint on the back and two cut open pieces about 1cm long both sides at the to. does anybody know what it is that i found??
