Snail reproduction? HELP?

I just bought 2 snails from Petsmart yesterday and today it looked like they were dropping little brown ovals in what looked like a clear adhesive sac. And i'm not exactly sure if this is poop or eggs. I read somewhere that their eggs look like ovals/ circles and they are in clear sacs. so yeah. But they are both releasing them. And it was like they started this morning, and just stopped a few minutes ago. And they're under the water. They are NOT above the water, they are below the water and have fallen into the big stones i have as the gravel. So are these eggs???
